Local Visual Artist: Painter and Book Binder.
Jacob Brown is a Visual Artist Specializing in Painting and Book Binding. He studied Studio Art, Art History and Not-for-Profit Arts Management at Sheridan College, University of Toronto and Centennial College respectively. He currently works out of his home studio in Belleville ON. Painting in acrylic, with a modern impressionist style. Portraits of our fading and enduring Landscapes. Cut through with infrastructure, they reveal the unseen colour behind the light and shadow. Using maps, hand bound notebooks and found materials, his work depicts the world in a unique and distinct way.
